Lint remover (also known as fabric shaver) helps easily collect lint and fibers that accumulate on the surface of carpets during carpet making and cutting. It provides a cleaner and more organized appearance.
Precautions:
Initially use at a 10° angle, then gently glide to determine suitability for garment use.
Avoid use on wool carpets/clothing as it may cause pilling and tearing. Use a designated carpet comb for cleaning and grooming wool carpets/garments.
How to use:
Preparation: First, place the carpet on a smooth and flat surface.
Before trimming, it's recommended to comb the carpet with a sturdy carpet comb designed for this purpose, which removes improperly adhered fibers and gives the carpet a soft, groomed appearance.
Lint removal: After combing, glide the lint remover evenly and gently over the carpet surface. Pay attention to the angle and pressure. Avoid pressing too hard! Adjust the pressure to prevent damage to the carpet/clothing. Hold the scraper in one hand at approximately a 45° angle and gently comb until the carpet/garment is clean.
Cleaning: Collect and remove lint and fibers accumulated during cutting to provide a cleaner and more organized appearance to the textile.
